Standard Operating Procedures

Scope:

How robust is your suite of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)?


When did you last look at them? When did you last audit the written SOPs vs. what's actually operational practice?


When did the franchisees last use the SOPs to do improve the way they do things in their businesses?


Are the SOPs used as a training tool with all franchise and team members?


Consider the following:

  • Do you have a set of SOPs for both for the franchise operation and the support office systems?
  • Are the SOPs structured well to assist the growth of your brand, franchisees and their teams?
  • Do you have processes in place to for updating and keeping SOPs current and relevant?
  • How do you capture new or updated SOPs that are implemented every day within the business to ensure that are added to the current manuals?
  • Do you have SOPs ambassadors in your business?
  • Are the manuals easily accessible and in a format that engages the end user?

This workshop will assist in answering and addressing these questions and elevating your SOP's to a robust set of tools that adds value to your franchise system.

Half Day (8:30am - 12:30pm or 1pm - 5pm)

Course Facilitator - Corina Vucic

Corina has been involved in the franchise industry for more than 16 years and is the Director of FC Business Solutions. She was named the 2012 Franchise Council of Australia (FCA) Woman in Franchising (Vic/Tas) and lead FC Business Solutions to being awarded the 2012/2013 FCA Supplier of the Year. Corina is a Committee member of the FCA Victorian Chapter and assists the Women in Franchising committee as required. She is a highly experienced mentor, trainer and business coach and believes in influencing success through motivation and engagement by providing leadership, support and guidance at all levels. Corina has a Bachelor of Arts and Commerce, a Masters in Human Resources and a Certificate IV in Workplace Training.
