Glenn Parker

Glenn is a passionate teacher and educator who has been training and teaching for 20 years.After completing his Diploma of Business Management, Glenn started out as a Training Supervisor for Hilton Hotels and Spotless Catering and then later full time as an Area Manager with a National Retail Food Franchisor opening over 60 new stores throughout Australia and New Zealand training new franchisees and helping them meet their business objectives.

Glenn then went on to open his own franchise store as a franchisee and was awarded best retail food category Victoria. After 8 years in franchising, Glenn sold his franchise business and began teaching at William Angliss Institute completing a Diploma of Vocational Education and Training at Victoria University.Glenn developed the Taste of Franchising Program with Dean Salomone, Managing Director of Franchise Careers and State President of Victorian chapter Franchise Council Australia which placed students into the head offices of 7 Eleven, Nando’s, Healthy Habits, Hungry Jacks and Bakers Delight .

Glenn now finds himself overseeing franchise education at William Angliss Institute and working closely with partners Business Essentials and the Franchise Council of Australia to deliver the Diploma of Franchising and Certificate IV Small Business Management.

Tom McGhee

Tom began his career in the investment department of a Trustee Company before moving to The Taxation Office where he was involved in compliance lodgement areas. This led to being promoted into the Staff Development and Training area where Tom delivered all levels of administrative and team oriented training sessions.

When the Taxation office undertook major restructuring around new computer systems, Tom was seconded to the national team responsible for the design and delivery of the workshops aimed at assisting staff deal with such a massive change management program in which operative teams identified and resolved their own issues of performance, quality and teamwork.During this time Tom studied for his Bachelor’s Degree in Business (Management) from Monash.

Tom joined William Angliss in 1999 and has taught at every level from Cert IV, Diploma, Advanced Diploma to Degree, covering subjects such as Leadership, Organisational Behaviour, Organisational Environments, Business Operations and Business Planning and Marketing.Since joining Angliss Tom gained his Graduate Diploma (Training and Development).
