NextGen in Franchising invites young entrepreneurs to explore opportunities and to connect with the Franchising Industry

The NextGen in Franchising Global Competition is a worldwide program that engages millennial entrepreneurs seeking to grow their businesses through the franchise model, and the only business incubator in the world focused on franchising.

The Franchise Council of Australia, in conjunction with the International Franchise Association, once again encouraged the annual search for young entrepreneurs with an innovative business that could potentially be franchised (or is franchised) to submit applications to win a place in the global competition.

The finalists/winners have the potential to show their product or services globally and raise awareness of their product/brand; this year the IFA selected 2 Australian finalists to participate in the accelerated workshops with mentoring at their annual convention held at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, NV February 2019.

The finalists selected were invited to feature at the National Franchise Convention 2018 this past October and will now take their brands to the international stage, these finalists were:

CityCave

Jeremy Hassell

From a young age, I've always wanted to be an entrepreneur. I found myself in the construction industry and quickly grew out of it finding no real satisfaction in the industry. Since beginning an importing/wholesale/retail business with another friend from the construction industry. We grew that business in a short amount of time and sold it after we found a gap in the health industry. Now feeling like I make a difference the thirst for more has been a rewarding process. www.citycave.com.au
