National Franchise Convention 2015

The National Franchise Convention returned to the Gold Coast in 2015 for the annual convention. Once again, NFC was the meeting place for inspiration, motivation and thought leadership on all things franchising, with an exciting line up of keynotes, concurrent and workshop sessions on the program.

Keynote speakers for NFC15 included:

Holly Kramer:
Holly Kramer is an inspirational business leader, who has worked at some of the best known companies in Australia, and who is responsible for the remarkable turnaround of retailer Best & Less. Her story is one of creating business success through building great cultures, empowering teams and truly understanding customers and their needs.

Todd Sampson:
Todd is the CEO of Leo Burnett, Australia. His company is now ranked as the 7th most creative company in the world. He is the co-creator of the Earth Hour initiative, which was the largest environmental movement in history. He is also the breakout star of the hit ABC show the Gruen Planet and a co-host on the Channel 10 news show, The Project. Todd is also the writer, producer and host of a Discovery Science documentary series called Redesign My Brain, which won Documentary of the Year.

Andrew Demetriou:
Andrew Demetriou is the recently retired Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Australian Football League after holding that position for 11 years. He was also the AFL's General Manager - Football Operations for three years and previous to that the  CEO of the AFL Players Association, where he was instrumental in establishing programs to look after players during their careers and after their retirement.
Alisa Camplin OAM:
Alisa Camplin is an Olympic champion aerial skier who won gold at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. It was the second skiing gold medal ever won by Australia, and the first won by an Australian woman. She also won the bronze medal at the 2006 Winter Olympics.
Scott Boocock: 
Scott's "The Aussie Innovator" most current venture is as inventor and founder of HEGS Australia the innovative peg with hooks featured on Channel 10's Shark Tank. He is an inspirational speaker drawing on his range of life experiences, from growing up in Alice Springs, Northern Territory, to living and working across the globe.
