The Franchise Financial Sustainability Masterclass shows how to tie all those financial elements to specific franchise business objectives and demonstrate how to continually optimise franchisee performance based on the financial data.

The Franchise Financial Sustainability Masterclass from Griffith University and Avatar Consulting can assist franchise field staff and other franchisor representatives with all of this and more.

The workshop focuses on the key areas that challenge many in business: cash flow; break even and Profit and Loss interpretation; setting target based on sought returns and much more.

The "hands on" course will enable you to immediately apply your learning's by calculating the required drivers of business growth and productivity to achieve the business returns for your franchise system helping you to:

  • Read and understand the most common financial reports.
  • Calculate ROI and other key ratios and communicate them to your franchisees for their own decision making.
  • Influence your franchisees' budgeting process to generate greater returns.
  • Accurately predict economic turning points that will affect your franchisees' businesses.
  • Understand the importance of cross-referencing different financial reports to identify key risks and opportunities.
  • Earn Certified Franchise Executive education points.

Plus - Students who complete the Franchise Financial Sustainability Masterclass can apply for credit for the 'Accounting and Reporting' course in the Graduate Certificate in Franchising.

Together with this information and the exclusive workshop templates, attendees will apply their learnings by examining sample businesses to further reinforce the teachings during the four  days. Through this hands-on application of their new skills in a real life business environment, attendees develop a stronger appreciation of sound financial management techniques.


Franchise profitability expert David Campbell will facilitate the program.  He has extensive franchise financial management experience.  This coupled with his practical and informative approach allows David to push the performance envelope and take participants on a unique journey into business metrics, decoding financial data and translating key principles and processes so they're easy to understand.
