WA State Franchising Conference

Surviving Disruption

After a four-year recession, that stripped billions of dollars and thousands of jobs from WA there is now strong evidence of real recovery with the housing market growing again and the mining sector taking off quite quickly with new mines under construction. Yet with ongoing margin pressure; the negative media attention on franchising and the ongoing waves of change causing disruption, many WA franchise brands and businesses have work to do, to see them out the other side.

It is time, time for us all to ignite our leadership teams to prepare them for growth and to shed the residual effect of disruption. The local WA FCA Committee alongside the National team is bringing back this pivotal event with a high-profile collection of franchise leaders, business innovators, presenting real life 'in the trenches' success stories and inspirational discussions to inject a dose of practical insights and takeaways to support franchising in WA. These lessons and experiences have weathered the storms of disruption to revive, evolve and rebuild businesses to greater success, more resilient than ever. Disruption is less a 'single event' than a process that plays out over time, sometimes quickly and completely, but other times slowly and incompletely.
