About the Facilitators:

Corina Vucic, Director, FC Business Solutions

Whether it is franchising, operational advice or management support, Corina's focus always on the needs of the client. Developing a unique one-on-one strategies designed specifically for each business, Corina provides clients with coaching, mentoring and leadership support.

A noted expert in the franchising industry, Corina is a committee member of the FCA Victorian Chapter and provides strategic input in the Women in Franchising committee. In 2012 she was awarded the Franchise Council of Australia (FCA) Woman in Franchising (Vic/Tas) award and in 2016 was appointed to the Small Business Ministerial Council to advise the Minister and provide guidance to the Victorian Government on small business operation.

An in-demand MC and conference presenter, Corina can break down complex business concepts into practical and proven strategies. With expertise across a range of industries, Corina can support businesses as they seek to franchise, manage their franchise or simply grow their business or diversify.

With an interest in bridge climbing and having climbed all three major bridges in the southern hemisphere, Corina understands to scale new heights, a thorough and planned support structure is required to minimise risk a principle she applies with her clients to help them achieve their business goals.

Bruce McFarlane, Managing Director, BlueRock Partners

Bruce is the Managing Director and leader of the firm's M&A team and Franchising, Retail & Distribution team. He has over fifteen years experience advising franchisors and other businesses on commercial issues.

Bruce is an experienced and commercially-focused practitioner with an impressive list of clients and a wide range of experience in commercial transactions. He advises clients on sales and purchases of businesses, acquisitions and divestments, franchising, licensing and distribution agreements, business ownership or relationship agreements, due diligence, structuring and acquisition. Bruce also advises on private capital raisings and share subscriptions, and general commercial agreements.

Ben Fletcher, Founder, Listen To Your Body

Ben Fletcher is the founder of Listen To Your Body Australia. Ben has always had a passion for health and fitness, he has grown his passion from humble beginnings as a Personal Trainer in 2002, to having 12 Listen To Your Body Studios in May 2018.

Listen To Your Body has improved the conventional personal training by implementing small personalised group sessions that give people the opportunity to train at a reasonable price, with a qualified trainer by their side. Each member has their own training plan based on their goals, limitations and training volume.

LTYB are based in Victoria and Queensland with Australia wide growth plans in the future. 

Brodie Arnhold, Chief Executive Officer, iSelect

Brodie is a former investment bankers with Westpac and Investec and is now a professional investorand director.

David Ridgeway, General Manager - Franchise Operations, Quest Apartment Hotels

Supporting franchise owners in their profitability across 130 apartment hotels in Australia and opening an average 6 to 10 new apartment hotels each year, finding and recruiting new franchisees is one of the most challenging roles.

At Quest Apartment Hotels, that job currently falls to David Ridgeway the company's General Manager Franchise Operations & his passionate Team. David joined Quest in 2009 in the Franchise Operations Team as Franchise Support Manager supporting and driving 25 properties in Victoria. He came to Quest with over 10 years' experience in the franchising & distribution channels from the printing and telecommunications industries.  

Prior to joining Quest, David was Group Manager - Southern Region for Snap Printing, managing their franchise network for 3 years. David has 15 years' experience in the telecommunications industry working with some of the leading companies Motorola and the Hutchison Telecoms Group (trading as Orange & 3 Mobile). He is a highly qualified executive with a strong background in sales, business development, team & franchise management and growing distribution channels (franchising, B2B, retail, direct sales & call centres).

David is passionate about growing franchisee personal wealth through a focus on understanding their goals via focusing on sales/revenue, business development, and growing distribution channels, franchising but his recent personal accomplishment was his recent completion of Oxfam's 100-kilometre Trail walker. 

Leanne Foenander, Studio Owner, Listen To Your Body

Leanne worked at Carlton and United Breweries in Abbotsford for 11 years working as a heavy machine operator. During this time Leanne read avidly for many hours a day, from classical literature to investment and economics. Leanne's background is business, having completed a Bachelor of Business Systems and Commerce at Monash, she has finally found her passion. 

In 2014 Leanne opened Listen to Your Body in Fairfield and has never looked back. Having trained at the iconic Strathmore studio for 3 years Leanne, wanted to replicate and share her incredible journey towards health and fitness into other communities.

Leanne leads a team of three dedicated trainers and has a strong Fairfield following of loyal members.

Wayne Morris, CEO, Fifo Capital

Wayne comes from an accounting and corporate finance specialist background having worked for Grant Thornton, London where he held a senior position in Government Advisory for corporate finance. Wayne was headhunted to join a fintech Supply Chain Finance platform called URICA. Funded by the British Business Bank and credit insured via Euler Hermes, Wayne was Head of the UK market and was responsible for the UK market adopting Supply Chain Finance and ensuring the company achieved sales and risk targets. His clients included: Jaguar Landrover, Apple, Lego, Porsche, McLaren and Wartzilla.

Wayne has structured many midtier Supply Chain Finance facilities and proposals, as well as a $33m supply chain finance facility for MAN Truck and Bus, $120m for EDF Energy and was board advisor on Supply Chain Finance for Lotus Cars.

Wayne understands how technology can be used to deliver robust finance solutions for business clients, which also satisfies internal risk controls and measures and is the architect of the Fifo Capital online invoicing platform STREAM. He sees technology as the solution to unlocking how business pay and get paid.
