This event brings women from the franchising community together every year. It is our day to network, enjoy a little bit of indulgence and celebrate our achievements together.

This year will feature keynote speaker, Raeleen Hooper, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, Snap Franchising as well as an outstanding panel:

About the Keynote Speaker:

Raeleen Hooper, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, Snap Franchising

With more than 17 years in both B2B and B2C franchising, Raeleen has many experiences to draw from. Including the challenges, opportunities, successes and failures along the way.

Working both for an emerging franchise, Vision Personal Training, to a mature franchising business Snap, Raeleen passionately believes it's all about the people you work with as well as understanding your 'attribeauties' and goals as a leader.

Raeleen's experience in marketing and sales has seen her successfully grow a franchise network as well as transform and re-brand B2B and B2C franchises. Raeleen draws on her initial career in sales to ensure the marketing and sales functions and goals are aligned and integrated as well as being flexible to deal with fast-paced changing markets.
 

About the Guest Panellists:

Kate Thomson, General Manager, ANZ Mobile Lending & 2018 Winner of the NSW-ACT Franchise Woman of the Year Award

Kate joined ANZ Mobile Lending as the General Manager in 2016. In her role, Kate is responsible for leading the Mobile Lending franchise to increase business performance and continue to evolve the franchise model.
Prior to this role, Kate progressed through ranks of McDonalds to Senior Management with responsibilities including executing on business strategy, franchising operations and business development. 

Kate holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Management Enterprise (University of Newcastle), an MBA (Charles Sturt University) and she is working towards achieving her CFE accreditation. Aside from work, Kate has three beautiful children and is a Central Coast Mariner's fan.

Guest Panellist: Sophie Hampel, CEO & Director, Inkling Women

Sophie Hampel is the CEO and Director of Inkling Women, an organisation dedicated to driving gender balance at leadership level. Sophie and her team have a GOLD (Giant Outrageous Liberating Dream) to ensure that 50% of leadership roles worldwide are held by women.

Sophie works with leading International and ASX200 companies like Qantas, Woolworths, Atlassian and Australia Post to rapidly lift the percentage of women at leadership level  50% of women who work with them are promoted within 6 months.

Sophie is a sought-after speaker on building personal and career success. With a Masters in psychology, she is expert in inspiring women to overcome fears and limiting beliefs in order to fulfil their potential.  Sophie grew up in Fiji as a young girl and was confronted with inequality at a very young age. As a result, she has always has a very strong inkling that there is a more equitable way to run the world and is passionate about creating a world where everyone has the same has access to the same opportunities and experiences.

Rebecca Jane Watts,  Executive Manager, Westpac

A passionate leader in the field of Human Potential and Founder of Inspired Minds Academy, Rebecca Jane overcame the odds to transform every area of her own life; her career, mindset, family and intimate relationships.  She now shares her learnings and secrets to success with individuals and business owners embarking on similar personal, professional and spiritual journeys, answering the question of why some have abundant success, love and happiness while others continue to go around in circles day in day out.

A Psychology graduate, Master Practitioner and Trainer in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Transformation Coaching and Complimentary Therapies.  Rebecca Jane hosts workshops and training events inspiring passions, life purpose and challenging old thought patterns to bring in new perspectives and rapidly accelerating growth to reveal true human potential.
