World Manager recently surveyed their brands with the aim to better understand how different business culture types impact the implementation of technology.

In World Manager's recent survey, three different culture types emerged. However they all had a common theme. Interestingly, they all prioritise relationships.

Relationship-oriented cultures have many strengths, however a side-effect is that they often struggle to get things done - relationships are so important, people avoid tough conversations. Decisions are often made by consensus and take too long.  For technology implementations, this lengthens implementation periods, limits engagement and reduces return on investment.

Facilitated by Wendy Donaldson, General Manager - Asia Pacific, World Manager, attend this session to learn how culture impacts your ability to implement not just technology, but any change, and take away tips on how the right kind of strong leadership can build relationships that get results.

A results-oriented leader with excellent project management skills, Wendy is highly trained and experienced in all aspects of management and restaurant operations, having worked in both new and established franchise and retail systems. Wendy has held the title of Operations Manager at Coco Cubano, Gloria Jeans and Mcdonalds.

Wendy is currently the General Manager with World Manager®, assisting brands in identifying areas of business that can be taken into the cloud to improve business communications and operational performance.

Wendy is also the Co-Chairperson of the FCA Women in Franchising (WIF) Committee.
