Increasing numbers of business migrants are turning to franchising, with franchise networks becoming more culturally diverse. This session explores the challenges and issues involved in recruiting, inducting and managing migrant franchisees.

About the Facilitator: Jason Gehrke, Founder & Director, Franchise Advisory Council, and
                                        Director, Franchise Council of Australia

Jason has more than 25 years' experience in the franchise sector in franchisee and franchisor roles, and is an educator, advisor and writer on franchising issues.

He is the founder and director of the Franchise Advisory Centre, Australia's leading franchise education consultancy, writes regularly on franchising for magazines and online news services, and publishes Franchise News & Events, Australia's leading email news bulletin on franchise trends and issues.

Jason is also the national deputy chairman of the Franchise Council of Australia, a director of Inspirations Paint, a national network of home improvement stores, and an Adjunct Professor at Griffith University.
