About the Guest Panellists:
Heather Hilton, Head of Marketing, LJ Hooker
Heather is a skilled marketeer with over 25 years' of experience in marketing, communications, franchising and events. After graduating from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in marketing and advertising, Heather moved to Sydney to join Photo Corporation of Australia. In 1999 she joined LJ Hooker in a newly created marketing role; Manager Dot Com.
Throughout her time in the corporate team at LJ Hooker, Heather has held a number of positions including awards and recognition, online website development, events and marketing services. In 2014 Heather was promoted to the role of Head of Marketing and is responsible for the ongoing development of the LJ Hooker brand and the creation of strategies and tools to help franchise owners and their teams grow their business.
Heather is passionate about marketing and LJ Hooker and strives to provide value to the franchise offer every day.
Petra Orrenius, Head of Marketing, SumoSalad
Petra Orrenius moved to Sydney from Stockholm Sweden where she was the CEO for Publicis Stockholm, one of Sweden's biggest advertising agencies. Over a ten year period she was creating lasting strategies and campaigns for global brands such as Adidas, Coca-Cola, Ericsson L'Oréal, Sara Lee, Sodexho, Orla, Weightwatchers as well as many strong local Swedish brands.
Petra always tries to combine commercial outcomes with making a broader positive social impact and give back the community. One of the driving forces to join SumoSalad two years' ago as Head of Marketing was her strong belief in helping Australia being a healthier place by offering honest, healthy and tasty food in a convenient and affordable way.
Petra's greatest strengths are her creativity, drive and leadership. She thrives on challenges, particularly those that expand the company's reach into new innovative areas. Her most recent projects involved re-branding of corporate identity including and initiating the first phase of Sumo's digital journey by launching the 'My Sumo' mobile consumer app and corporate marketing, training and communication platform. Petra have successfully guided and executed lots of creative seasonal campaigns and important collaborations with Ozharvest, Jetstar, Citigroup to mention a few.
Sian Paterson, Loyalty & Local Area Marketing Manager, Hairhouse Warehouse
Sian Paterson is an energetic and passionate marketing executive with a successful track record and over 12 years experience within multiple B2C and B2B environments including: Franchising, FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Mass, Hardware, and Wholesaler networks. With degrees in Marketing and Finance, Sian has extensive experience across the entire marketing mix.
Sian has a particular strength in relationship marketing, utilising customer insights to create personalized customer interactions across digital and social channels. Other core competencies include cross functional transformational strategy development, determining how to make new concepts work in practice, an analytical approach to tasks and strong team leadership.
In 2014 she joined Hairhouse Warehouse as Local and Loyalty Marketing Manager, where she strategically analysed and relaunched the loyalty program, delivering a highly successful launch that aligned the interests of franchisees, loyalty members and other stakeholders. Sian provides strategic advice to the franchisees to grow their businesses, including the implementation of an online local marketing platform which streamlined the local marketing process.
