Gary will talk to and give insights on the challenges faced in an industry undergoing constant changes and regulatory Reviews whilst dealing with changing consumer expectations.

Gary Dunne, Chief Operating Officer for Sigma Pharmaceuticals
Gary is a highly motivated, creative and versatile C-Level senior executive with extensive experience in retail and wholesale operations. He is a strong thought leader with over 25 years' experience and a proven track record in retail restructuring, Operations, Warehouse and Distribution, Property, Information Technology, Merchandise, Marketing and Strategic Management. He has a particular interest in cultural transformation and development.
Gary is the Chief Operating Officer for Sigma Pharmaceuticals with responsibility for strategically leading Sigma's healthcare business.
Gary's professional experiences include 16 years with Woolworths, predominantly in Operations, and he was the first Regional Managing Director for Aldi in its first five years establishing the Australia operation. He then spent a further five years with Coles Myer in Operations, Strategy and Super Centres, before completing a number of restructuring roles with private equity.
He is currently the Chairman of NostraData, a non-executive director of Member Benefits Australia, a non-executive Director of National Pharmaceutical Services Association and attends all management board meetings at Sigma.
Gary is also a recipient of the Joe Berry Memorial Award, a finalist in the Johnson & Johnson New Leaders forum, and a finalist in the Australian Supermarket Institute Awards.
Gary is a graduate of the Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Programme, holds a Masters of Enterprise from Melbourne University and a Bachelor of Business from Monash University.
