Evolving Your Business Model

Franchising is not a set and forget business. Too often franchise leadership teams are slow to check in and complete a review of their models to determine if they are relevant in today's business environment; if they are delivering a commercial business outcome for both the franchisor and the franchisees; and if they are meeting the needs and demands of the consumer.

The Evolving Your Business Model forum will explore the following thought starters:

  1. Is the franchise offering relevant and current?
  2. Are the income streams maximized, for both franchisor and franchisee?
  3. Do you know the "pain" points of the franchisees, how are you managing the fix or exit?
  4. Are the services provided to franchisees adding value or outdated?
  5. Is there a ROI on the services or are they dead wood?
  6. Have you maximised technology to keep the franchise brand productive?
  7. Non exclusive territory vs no territory at all - what's working for you?
  8. Marketing- traditional vs social media, is there a plan?
  9. Marketing fund - what's its output to the franchise brand?
  10. Customer ownership - DATA is the new CASH IS KING
  11. Minimum Performance Indicators- is it a culture or nonexistent?
  12. How do you integrate online sales into your business model?
