VIC Breakfast 13/04/16

International Expansion

Thinking of exporting a franchise brand overseas - What does it take to succeed?

This breakfast will feature an outstanding panel of speakers from franchise brands who have all successfully expanded their operations overseas.

Our panel of experts will share their experiences and the challenges of entering new markets;

  1. What's ripe for franchising overseas?
  2. How do you 'stress' test if you have the right business to export?
  3. Should you go it alone or with a local partner?
  4. What could go wrong?
  5. How are you going to fund the expansion and what do you need to generate cash flow?
  6. Who do you need on your team of experts?

The panel will be moderated by Bruce McFarlane, Partner, Hall & Wilcox, who brings his extensive experience working with franchisors to this session.
