Established Brands - Innovate or perish?

Hear from senior employees from three of Australia's most well-known and established franchised businesses franchisees as they discuss the need for innovation; different business approaches to the development of cultures that support and nurture innovation; and how their businesses plan, implement and measure the success of innovative ideas.
This panel discussion will be very practical and will draw on current real world examples of innovation from within these 3 companies.
This event will be suited to owners, senior managers, business and product development teams and anyone interested in innovation.
On the panel:
Christopher is the Head of Network for LJ Hooker Group. He is responsible for managing and growing LJ Hooker's Australian residential network.
He is a licensed real estate agent, stock and station agent, accredited auctioneer and a recognised industry strategist with extensive experience in real estate business acquisitions, risk management, training and recruitment.
Christopher was the winner of the REI NSW Award for Excellence in Auctioneering in 2001 and 2005 and a finalist in the 2007 Australasian Auctioneering Championships.
His extensive industry knowledge, insight and broad property background spans almost two decades. Previous to this role Christopher has held a number of positions including regional general manager, sales manager and chief auctioneer for some of Sydney's leading agencies.
Christopher's local experience is augmented by invaluable and extensive exposure to the overseas property arena as an international property consultant in North America and the South Pacific.
Cameron has worked with McDonald's more than fifteen years ago. He has worked his way up the ladder through a variety of roles, largely operational. One of these positions was restaurant manager at Thornleigh, McDonald's Head Office restaurant.
Cameron was one of the key people behind 'The Corner McCafe' project, which was a world first for the brand, and has had huge success.
His current role oversees the NSW/ACT franchises, which consists of 230 restaurants and 71 franchisees. He is currently assisting them with the roll out of their newest imitative of 'Create Your Taste'.
Stephen joined 7-Eleven in January 2014. Before joining 7-Eleven, Stephen held Senior Executive roles in Retail and Channel Operations with a focus on channel productivity, retail technology and innovation, customer advocacy and front line engagement. He also has experience in Marketing and Brand Management, Telecommunications and Product Development from his time with Telstra and Ford Motor Company.
He holds Bachelor Degrees in both Commerce and Laws from The University of Queensland.
Stephen's primary focus is on developing 7-Eleven's innovation strategy across new categories, service offerings and process improvements, both at a retail level and internally.
