Providing effective advertising to your target audience through social media has never been easier or cheaper. However there are are many threats to consider when your organisation chooses to communicate through social media channels. Unlike radio, TV and newspaper ads, social media allows the viewer or reader to respond, get involved and voice their opinions.

There are many advantages to this way of communication with clients, potential clients and the general public however a business' reputation is at risk at every turn - and most of the time, the reputation of a business can quickly change overnight if one negative post or response leaks onto your social platforms.

This discussion is about managing your reputation through social media - to be able to effectively control the good and the bad which can and does happen on Twitter, Facebook and others.
