NSW Roundtable 24/07/14

The Pros and Cons of Local Area Cluster Marketing.

Local marketing has definitely been a buzz word over the past few years in the franchising industry.  Franchise brands are increasingly focussing on local marketing as a part of their marketing mix as it has proven to be very successful in raising local awareness and gives franchisees more of a connection to the marketing process.   A number of franchise systems have local marketing committees and coordinate marketing into what is known as marketing clusters, getting a number of franchisees in an area to collectively develop a promotion that is consistent for all store.

This marketing roundtable to be held at The Cheesecake Shop head office in Western Sydney will openly discuss the strengths and weaknesses of cluster marketing giving attendees to share their insights and experience with local area marketing and will be presented by National Marketing Manager of The Cheesecake Shop Peter Dable.  A guided  tour of the head office, ingredients warehouse and production facilities is included as well as a morning tea, refreshments and a little gift for all attendees.
