Women in Franchising High Tea 2014

 

You are invited to our next High Tea on Friday 7th March 2014.

This event brings women from the franchising community together every year. It is our day to share, indulge and celebrate together.

Hear from keynote speaker Danielle Robertson:

Danielle Robertson is the CEO of DIAL-AN-ANGEL Pty Limited, Australia's only national group specialising in Aged, Home and Family care and employee support services. This family business has been assisting Australian families, businesses and overseas visitors since 1967. In her position, Danielle oversees the company's network of national offices, as well as acting as Business Development Manager for the Group.

In her capacity as CEO, Danielle continues to expand the Business Services division with DIAL-AN-ANGEL as a preferred national provider in corporate reward and recognition programmes as well as for employee benefits and work-life flexibility programmes.

Danielle is President of Australian Nanny Association Inc. (ANA), which was established in 2012 in response to the increasing demand for in home childcare.

As a mother of two children in an extremely busy household, Danielle understands all the challenges of being a mother and business professional. Fortunately, Danielle has the same passion for working in the business as for being with her family. For many women, finding the balance between work and family is difficult to achieve without the support of family, friends or outsourcing. Danielle manages this balance every day!

Following our keynote speaker we will have an interactive panel session, including:

Debb Meyer, Strategic Advisor/Owner Narellan Pools and Franchise Woman of the Year 2013
Debb Meyer has a colourful and accomplished career. Having held leadership roles with McDonald's, Foodco and Krispy Kreme, to Senior Associate with the Franchise Relationships Institute where she gained a reputation for straight shooting and a true commitment to her client’s success, to now; leading global brand, Narellan Pools with her husband Chris.

Debb is a sharp business woman, engaging speaker, exceptional facilitator, writer and passionate advocate for women in leadership but most importantly; a wife to Chris and mother to Xavier, Eliza and Kingston. 

After the devastating death of her son Xavier, Debb became a voice for thousands of woman who suffer the loss of a child. She is proof a devastating loss in life can be the fuel to truly live life with passion, conviction and happiness.

Faciliating the panel session will be Natalie Brennan, National Services and Support Manager, Foodco Group
Educated originally as a teacher, Natalie spent the first 10 years of her career in operational training roles in Brisbane with multi-unit operations including Collins Foods (Sizzler), Power House Hotels (Hotels and Nightclubs) and the Billabong Group (Restaurant and Hotels). After gaining a Commerce degree as an adult student (majoring in Industrial Relations) her passion for human resource management was further ignited. This gave her the opportunity for a role working for Spotless Foods in HR and Training for the 2000 Sydney Olympics where she led the training for over 3000 catering staff who were employed for the 10 day event. After spending time in this role with Spotless on other major sporting events Natalie took up a position in 2001 as HR and Training Manager for the Foodco Group, franchisor for Muffin Break bakery cafes, Jamaica Blue cafes and Dreamy Donuts stores. Since that time Natalie has held a number of key positions in the company including two years spent in the USA as Project Manager for a pilot Muffin Break store. She is currently the National Service and Support Manager. This senior role oversees a number of departments for all three Foodco concepts including Product Supply and Procurement, Product Development and Training. She is also overseeing the operations and development of the recently purchased Dreamy Donuts Brand. At 45, Natalie became the mother of her now twin two year old boys. She is desperately still trying to work out how to get work/life balance, but is happy to share her tips on being a fulltime worker and “geriatric” mother of multiples.
