Managing Growth in Your Network

FCA invites you to attend our upcoming Roundtable. So help us spread the word and forward this invitation to your fellow franchisors and franchise managers.
This roundtable is suitable for anyone involved in growing a network, including the CEO, MD, board members, owners and senior managers.
Every organisation has growth targets and boxes are ticked or crossed at the end of each month, quarter or year based upon whether the target has been met. It might be a certain number of new franchisees or it might be year on year sales increases.  However, achieving a growth target is not managing growth. 
At this roundtable we want to explore the experiences of the group in relation to their growth journey and the setbacks and successes that have been encountered.  What to do when a group of franchisees are unhappy and in dispute with you? What to do to improve relationships and sales performance?  What role does strong leadership play in the success of businesses and teams?

On hand to participate in the discussion will be Steve Keil, CEO of Laser Plumbing and Electrical. Laser have 1,500 staff throughout Australia and New Zealand and have over 200 member companies (franchises) making them the leading plumbing and electrical contractor in Australia and New Zealand with ambitious plans for further nationwide expansion in both countries.  If you ever thought that conversion franchising was impossible…make sure you are at this session to hear Steve’s pearls of wisdom on the topic.
This round table will allow you the opportunity to meet others, share your experiences and walk away with new ideas.

The topic will focus on:

  • What are sensible targets for growth?
  • Do targets for growth help or hinder management of growth?
  • Multi-unit franchising….is it good for your business?
  • Does a minimum performance requirement help?
  • How to manage disputes?
  • Tools in your franchise agreement to assist in managing growth?
  • Leadership styles.
  • Managing growth with a view to having a valuable business to sell.
