NSW WIF High Tea 08/03/2013

Women in Franchising High Tea 8 March 2013

We are delighted to announce our first event in the 2013 Women in Franchising calendar. We will be celebrating International Women’s Day with an indulgent and informative high tea event.

Be spoiled and hear Karin Adcock's story while enjoying some delicious food and a glass of sparkling wine.
PANDORA was launched in Australia from a garage in Avalon in 2004. With strategic and well-placed marketing, founder Karin Adcock and her close-knit and dedicated team have grown brand awareness of PANDORA from zero in 2004, to achieving a prompted brand awareness of 89% in 2011. PANDORA is now one of the most recognised jewellery brands in the region and the third biggest jewellery brand in the world.

Come and meet like-minded women in a relaxed environment, indulge in a special boutique venue and be spoiled with giveaways from our sponsors.

Invite your colleagues to share, learn, grow and celebrate International Womens Day!

Launched from a garage in 2004, the Australian company has taken the local jewellery market by storm.
Through hard work and determination, and despite many setbacks and rejections in the early days, Karin Adcock managed PANDORA through a period of intense growth. Turnover quadrupled in the company’s second year and it has achieved significant growth ever since.
PANDORA Australia introduced its first concept store in 2007 and there is now over 70 concept stores. The first Pandora franchised store opened in 2009. The franchise network has grown substantially since then, with over 50 franchise stores opening their doors in Australia and New Zealand.
Karin stood down as President of PANDORA in July 2012 but is still a passionate ambassador for the company in Australia. She now sits on a number of advisory boards, working with brands on a strategic level to maximixe their potential.

The WIF special interest group is part of the Franchise Council of Australia and it provides its members the opportunity to:

  • Exchange ideas and participate in interesting discussions
