International Trends In Franchising & Doing Business in China

The FCA invites you to a panel discussion on international trends affecting the franchising sector. Hear from our experts on what the largest global franchisors are doing to grow and prosper in challenging economic conditions.

There will also be a presentation by Lindy Chen on what is seen by many to be the biggest international trend at the moment: breaking in to China. Lindy will explain the phenomenon that is China; Chinese business etiquette; and what to avoid when dealing with the Chinese.

The panel will include:

Tracy lead the team that saw SUBWAY® become one of the most sought after Franchise Opportunities in Australia.  The team opened 1000 restaurants in Australia and New Zealand in less than 10 years, and saw it surpass all other Quick Service Restaurant Chains in store count. In addition to her experience with SUBWAY® Tracy has worked with brands ranging from 25 to 1100 outlets and has a unique understanding of the business at different levels of development.
