How to effectively manage end of franchise term arrangements

Ken Rosebery,
The Cheesecake Shop
 Graham Streeter,
SumoSalad
 Serge Infanti,
FoodCo

There are a number of reasons why a franchise relationship may need to come to an end.  Those reasons can include sickness, marriage break-up, desire for a sea-change, lack of passion for the business, landlord rental increases or change in business direction by the franchisor.  Or course, the relationship may also need to end because of poor performance or simply because the franchise agreement is due to expire and the franchisor is not interested in the continued operation of the franchise business from that location.   Whatever the reason, effectively planning,  managing and communicating end of term arrangements to a franchisee is of critical importance to all franchisors and the sector generally.

We have assembled an experienced and fantastic franchisor panel to examine and discuss how to effectively manage end of term arrangements with franchisees.

The panel is:

  • Graham Streeter, General Manager, Sumo Salad
  • Serge Infanti, Managing Director, Foodco
  • Ken Roseberry, CEO, The Cheesecake Shop

This topic always attracts debate, so do not miss this session.  You will hear firsthand how some leading systems are tackling this difficult issue.  There will be plenty of lively discussion and an opportunity to ask questions and network with franchise colleagues.

We have listened to feedback, so this event will be held at lunch time at Moore Park Golf Club and parking is free.
