It's time to update your disclosure document

Disclosure documents are a mandatory requirement under the Code of Conductand the primary source of information to a prospective franchisee.  The disclosure document can encourage or dissuade a franchisee from proceeding.  Directors and company officers can become personally liable for information that may later prove to be misleading and deceptive.

The presentation will be interactive and attendees are encouraged to raise practical issues which can be discussed at the round table.

1. Key obligations of disclosure

2. The grey areas of the Code in a disclosure document

3. Ongoing disclosure under the Code – what is “material”

5. Tips to avoid engaging and misleading and deceptive conduct
