Simon Corbett – Slingshot media

Simon was GM of global digital agency Amnesia RazorFish and helped steer them to two consecutive ‘Interactive Agency of the Year’ awards working on clients such as Pepsi, Microsoft and Holden. He has also been Head of Digital at Naked Communications working on clients including Coke, Qantas, Contiki, Weight Watchers and Cancer Council.

In 2010 he launched Slingshot Digital Ventures - a common sense digital agency designed to help clients truly understand, appreciate and apply digital in a meaningful way. The agency is proud to work with FoodCo, Universal Sony, SunRice, Suncorp and ANZ Direct marketing.

Michael Paul - CEO/Founder, Pack & Send International

Michael Paul has carved a niche in the logistics industry and turned it in to a multi-million dollar national enterprise. His innovation and specialisation has built Pack & Send into an international retail franchise network with over 125 stores throughout Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

Pack & Send was the winner of the 2007 PriceWaterhouseCoopers FCA Australian Franchisor of the Year Award. In 2008 Pack & Send earned second place in the prestigious International Franchisor of the Year Award - a major achievement given the company was up against some of the major global economies and franchising cultures in the world.

Today, Pack & Send has become an outstanding business success story. The company services householders, ebay buyers and sellers, tourists, small businesses and major Blue-chip organisations such as Qantas, Telstra, BHP, Bunnings Warehouse, Kodak, Optus, Virgin Airlines, National Australia Bank, to name a few.

Scott Hamilton - Marketing Manager, Ribs and Rumps

As National Marketing Manager for Eagle Boys Pizza, Scott delivered back-to-back years of record sales growth and steered the brand to winning the National Retail Association’s Best Franchise award in both 2007 and 2008. Eagle Boys was also awarded the prestigious Retailer of the Year award in 2008, with Scott being recognised as a Young Manager of the Year finalist in the Australian Institute of Management awards.

More recently, Scott spent two years as National Marketing Manager for the 365 restaurant Red Rooster brand, launching the 'Don’t Think Twice' campaign to market in 2011. In his current role, Scott is piloting the marketing function for iconic Australian steakhouse brand, Ribs and Rumps. Following its recent acquisition by The Coffee Club Group, Ribs and Rumps has commenced an aggressive expansion strategy targeting up to eight new restaurant openings per year over the next ten years to add to it’s eleven existing domestic and international restaurants. The first franchised restaurant opens next month.
