VIC Roundtable 29/05/12

Local area marketing – The power of unlocking customer data and understanding your customers

Local area marketing is critical in today’s highly competitive environment. As part of any marketing strategy it is important to understand who your customers are so that the most appropriate local campaigns, marketing material and product offerings are focused on the right demographics and in the right localised geographic areas for your brand.

Many companies hold a wealth of information at their fingertips, unlocking this information will provide invaluable insight into who your highest value customers are, and how they could best be marketed to.

This Roundtable will cover:

  • The power of unlocking customer data.
  • How to capture customer data effectively to get the most value from the data.
  • How customer data can be used to identify key target market(s) and highest value customers.
  • How to identify where potential customers are located so that appropriate marketing tools can be developed at a local area level.
  • How to select campaigns / promotions and relevant marketing strategies depending on local area market characteristics.
  • Differences between instore and online customers.
  • Discussion and questions.

Come prepared to share your experiences and participate in this interactive round table session.  Hear others experiences with local area marketing and how others are utilising customer data to their strategic advantage.

Light refreshments will be provided.
