Course Outline

This course is designed to provide franchisors and franchisees with a clear understanding of their obligations in relation to equal opportunity, discrimination, harassment and bullying.

Key knowledge areas covered include:

  • Legislative framework - State and Federal
  • Identifying various forms of discrimination
  • Principles of equal employment opportunity
  • Understanding bullying
  • Harassment - do you know what this looks like?
  • Illustrating best practice complaint resolution procedures
  • Clarifying the roles and responsibilities of employers and employees

Duration

Half day 8:30am to 12:30pm or 1:00pm to 5:00pm

Course Facilitator - Corina Vucic

 

Corina Vucic has been involved in the franchise industry for more than 16 years and is the Director of FC Business Solutions. She was named the 2012 Franchise Council of Australia (FCA) Woman in Franchising (Vic/Tas) and lead FC Business Solutions to being awarded the 2012/2013 FCA Supplier of the Year. Corina is a Committee member of the FCA Victorian Chapter and assists the Women in Franchising committee as required. She is a highly experienced mentor, trainer and business coach and believes in influencing success through motivation and engagement by providing leadership, support and guidance at all levels. Corina has a Bachelor of Arts and Commerce, a Masters in Human Resources and a Certificate IV in Workplace Training.
