Snooze gets a wake up call

Following the Snooze rebranding in 2006 (from Capt’n Snooze), the company has hired Simon Beaty as managing director in 2008. Mr Beaty was formerly operations director at Clark Rubber, and has worked for Solomons Flooring and Healthy Habits. The owner of Snooze - Steinhoff Asia Pacific - also owns Big Brand Outlets, Bay Leather Republic, Freedom NZ, and Freedom. Mr Beaty made Snooze a member of the Franchise Council of Australia. The strategic focus of Snooze has been increasing franchises. Alistair Brown, franchise network development manager at Snooze since 2010, has been concentrating on seeking out franchise opportunities. According to 10 Thousand Feet, in the  franchise.com.au franchisee satisfaction survey, Snooze ranks in the top 10. Read more. (subscription site)
