Queensland floods force Donut King, Michels Patisserie stores to shut

The Floods in Eastern Australia have been truly indiscriminant in their wake of destruction. Such is the case with Franchise giant Retail Food Group who have felt the full force of the flood impact, as reported below. The FCA wishes Retail Food Group a speedy and absolute recovery.

RETAIL Food Group says some of its outlets closed by floods may not reopen, and others may close subsequently as the financial consequences of the episode weigh on franchisees.

Retail Food Group, which own chains including Brumby's bakeries, Donut King and Michel's Patisseries, said that 108 outlets had closed due to the floods in Queensland. Read more.
