Franchise Employment Issues

Do you know how to protect your brand's reputation in the event of adverse media reporting of franchisees' employment practices?

Based on the patterns in media reporting and union campaigns (and with an election campaign underway), it is now becoming easier to identify the risk factors that businesses need to be aware of and address for their own brand protection.

Those risk factors are not always related to franchises who are acting illegally, so I will also discuss how to balance achieving legal compliance with acting in a way that meets the approval of the court of public opinion.

Attendees will be able to walk away from the presentation with practical steps that their businesses can take to identify and address risk factors to protect their brand.

This forum will be facilitated by Lisa Anaf, Partner, Workplace Relations, Employment & Safety, Mills Oakley.
