Franchisee Recruitment Strategies

A panel of leading franchise systems will share their strategies for successfully attracting, recruiting and retaining the right franchisees for their business.

Key Note Speaker: Grant Garraway, The Franchise Shop
Grant is a Senior Consultant with The Franchise Shop  with over 35 years retail experience including 25 years in the franchise sector and a successful track record in franchising sales management and franchise development.  Since 2003, he has developed more than 40 small and medium businesses into franchises. Previously to this he held roles as General Manager level positions with Midas, Dial a Dino’s Pizza and Kleins

Bill Russell, LJ Hooker


Bill is responsible for the vertical growth of the LJ Hooker network. His objective is to have LJ Hooker as the undisputed leader in quality of operators and market coverage for the network.
Bill has been involved directly with Real Estate and the Franchising industry for over 30 years starting in Property Management/Sales and progressing to franchise Owner.

 

Miki Caswell, Gloria Jean’s Coffees

In the last 15 years, Miki has contributed to the growth of iconic brands such as Bakers Delight and more recently, Gloria Jean’s Coffees.  With Gloria Jean’s Coffees for the last 10 years, she joined the brand to help establish the franchising system to assist in the rapid growth of the business. 

As the National Franchising Manager, Miki is responsible for the ongoing development, implementation and best practice of the Franchising system for Gloria Jean’s Coffees. A background in psychology has been instrumental in developing one of the most effective and comprehensive franchisee approval and sales process in the sector.

Stuart Cook, Zambrero


Stuart is as the Chief Executive Officer of Zambrero Group. Since stepping into role mid 2009, the quick casual restaurant chain has grown over 1300% now boasting stores in NSW, ACT, SA, QLD and WA with store numbers to hit 50 stores by the end of the 2012 calendar year.
