Press Release

MYOB brings leading accounting solutions to Franchise businesses in 2015

Leading accounting software provider, MYOB announces a partnership with The Franchise Council of Australia (FCA), the peak body for the franchise sector in Australia. The agreement underscores MYOB's continuous commitment to the sector; a thriving segment of small to medium businesses in Australia.

Within the partnership, the FCA has chosen MYOB as its supplier of choice for accounting solutions for its vast network of members in Australia. MYOB will provide end-to-end business solutions that enable franchisors to work seamlessly across online accounting, mobile payments, and now Enterprise Resource Planning solutions.

Commenting on the partnership, FCA GM Kym De Britt says, "MYOB is an iconic local company that is committed to the success of the franchisees in Australia so we see this as a really fitting partnership. Their effective solutions help local businesses succeed on all fronts and we are excited to give our franchise community the access to the entire network of MYOB solutions."

James Scollay, General Manager of SME Solutions, MYOB says, "with $141 billion in annual turnover, the franchise sector is incredibly important to our economy. It's critical that they implement the best technologies to see them succeed and to make their business life easier. As such, we are delighted to be working with the FCA to bring our online technology solutions to such an important sector of Australian business."

"Online accounting not only reduces the amount of time wasted manually reconciling accounts by an average of 10 hours per month, but statistics have also shown that businesses who use cloud computing are 30 percent more likely to increase their revenue than those that don't. Franchisors should be focusing more time on growing their brand and being a profitable business and MYOB can help them achieve this," says James Scollay, General Manager of SME Solutions, MYOB.

Commenting on MYOB's support for Franchisors, James Scollay says: "we're proud to provide a high level of care, specifically for the franchise industry through our Franchise Solutions Team. Everything from a dedicated Account Manager for personalised support, access to our Developer Program and integrated add on solutions, we really see ourselves as providing a complete solution for the Franchise industry in Australia."

"In addition to our online accounting and point of sale solutions for Franchisees, we are also now further extending our offering through MYOB Advanced; our new online world leading ERP solution, enabling Franchisors to shift online seamlessly. We know that online accounting opens up new levels of communication, efficiency and visibility, and we're excited about offering these benefits to the Franchise industry."
